I'd stay away from any Jet chip products but that's just me. Especially for Rams. I'd go with that PP3 for $150 or something like that if I wanted to adjust the speedo and that was basically it. You can find them fairly often for around that price used. Just make sure the one you get is unlocked.

is the only way to change the tire size calibration for a '95 year to use one of those Superlift things that splices into the wiring and changes the pulses? I've yet to find a tuner that will work with this old of a truck.

Other than a $tealership, I'm not sure how you could program your speedo on a 1994-1995.

In 1996, they switched to OBD II, but 1996-1997 were kind of weird years for it, and can have weird trouble codes that don't necessarily match OBD I or II (they have their own set I believe). 1998 I think was the first year it was really, truly 100% OBD II, hence why most tuners say the oldest trucks they work with are 1998 model year.

OBD I really didn't have a whole lot of reprogramming options, thats why they offered (and some places still do I think) Mopar performance computers, where you replace the whole thing.

IIRC the early model rams used a small gear to adjust the speedometer instead of the VSS that reads the tone ring in the rear diff.

That's a funny way to say it but, yes, on '94-'97 trucks, the speedometer was run off a gear in the tailshaft ... the old fashioned way. There are gears available that have different tooth counts to compensate for different vehicle gearing/tire combinations. '98+ use the the RWSS (not the VSS) interpreted by the PCM to run the speedometer/odometer.

Yeah same here, the only place ive ever heard of selling gas without the 10% is that one lone exxon around me. 4 other exxons near me and they all run 10%, but that 5th one..nothing. Maybe its just a fluke or a scheme to get people to buy from them.

Maybe they're lying ... I thought that 10% ethanol was a Federal (EPA) mandate.
