It's a restrictive SOB on a stock engine.. It will work but you're really limiting the potential. It's like getting full exhaust (headers, y-pipe, larger pipe, ect) and running the stock muffler, it works but you're neutering it.

I have to agree with the other guys, NO KEG!!! I know it's easy for us to spend your money for you, but I know that if I had spent the money, time, and effort to build this engine, I DEFINITELY wouldn't cheap out on the intake! I'm sure you're tired of the "leaking wallet" right now, but if you put that thing in your truck, and the first time you take it out to enjoy the fruits of your labor, and it is less than spectacular, you're gonna be disappointed!!! It won't feel as if it was worth all the effort. ALSO, it will be so much easier to install the proper intake while the engine is on a nice convenient stand right in front of you, than to have to tear back into the engine after it's back in the truck! You'll be regretting that decision when that time comes. You've done an awesome job with this engine build so far, we would all hate to see you cut corners at this point, when you're so close to perfection...

I got 5 on it
Yeah like I said its a money thing right now. Just like the stainless exhaust. I should not even have built this truck untill I had a couple of things taken care of financially. So I am going to be taking care of thoes things before I drop any more money into the truck. (I have been working sidejobs like crazy to get caught up.-damn dave ramsey!)
