Default Need help!!!!!

trying to get everything all buttoned up this weekend and need some help. there is a vacume harness that is on the transfer case. I have the 4way plug in. And the two that go to the front diff. There is a white one with a 90 fitting and a green one with it. Where do these two go.(both about 1/8th in. and the green one seems broke) I see a port on the top driver side of the transfer case but have nothing to plug into it.

HELP

and does anyone have a fastman on a 96 ram? site says that its for 97 and newer. I talket to the guy today and he said that the truck will run fine without using the rear fastman for the o2 sensor untill I can buy one. It will just not run really good.

I have a 50mm fastman on my "96, but mine is only a meer 318ci. As for the vac lines, I'll have to check, but they sound like the ones going to the tranny / transfer case. Someone will have to help with this because I eliminated some of them since the front axle stopped engaging into 4wd via vacuum lines. (I'm going to fix that with a cable in the not-too-distant future...)

There is an actuator switch on the top of the transfer case that changes which vacuum line gets vacuum whether in two or four wheel drive. The two lines run from the transfer case down to the CAD on the passenger side of the front axle to either engage or disengage the CAD. I am not sure if you are referring to the transfer case side or CAD side that you don't know where they go. Miami just went through this in a thread in the last few days.

Default Need help again

I have the two lines connected to the front drive axle. I have two more lines that are about the same size. I will have to try to find that thread

Anyone know where it is or what the thread is called?

Need help again-Calling everyone with pacesetter longtube headers- The driver side looks like it is going to hit the front drive shaft. Or very close to it. And if it bolts up looks like it will hit when the truck goes over some large bumps. Is this tight fight common or do I somehow have the wrong headers?

As for the pacesetters they are a tight fit with the front drive shaft. Mine did rubbed a little bit till I got an adjustable track bar, and favoed the axle to the driver side. My truck does have a lift so it did rub more than what a stock truck would have.

The thread is named "no x4". If I remember correctly Miami said something about there being three or four ports on the switch at the transfer case.

Default Pacesetters will not fit

Yup .064 clearance between the collector weld and the shaft. But when the shaft rotates it will hit the weights. SUCK

Will have to go to lukes drive shaft tomorrow and have a custom one made

THANKS PACESETTER

At this cost I could have had stainless headers custom made by a local guy in town

k there might be a shot of getting the truck fired up tomorrow. I have to work a half day tho. And go to the junk yard and get the right starter.

Back to the transfer case vacume lines I read all of miamison's thread and it was no help. I have a connector on the top of the transfer case with four vacume lines in a square/circle plugged into it. two go to the steel lines connected to my tranny cross member. the other two are the ones that I have no idea where they go. (they are white and green) Can someone please crawl under your truck(mine is a 96) and tell me where they to.

I have a 1/4 vacume port on top of my transfer case that is not being used also but its way too big for the vacume lines in question.

I found this

http://dodgeram.org/tech/repair/4X4/4x4_engagment.htm

so I just need to know which color white or green is the vacume and which is the vent.

and still what is the port on the top of the transfercase to.
