long tubes headers

Default long tubes headers

i heard shorties dont really do much , so i was wondering for long tubes, do i have to order some kind of y-pipe , or new cats ???

New Y pipe yea you will need a new one.

Try to be a little more specific on what you're going to do...
If you're gonna run a single exhauset you need a new Y-pipe, and a new Catalytic converter.

If you're gonna run duals you don't need a Y-pipe...

If he were to run duals would he not want to go with shorties and a x pipe

yeah i just want to install the long tubes , where do i get a y pipe for it, and do they just place the highflow cat further back ?

Well assuming you're getting the pacesetter long tubes they sell a Y-pipe for them although I've heard it's not of the best quality.

If you're having them custom made then just get them to make you a y-pipe as well.

so should i just get shorties if its just going to be a pain, i was just going to go with the edlebrock shorties cerimic anyways, with the longtubes i was just goin for a lil more power and noise
