Yea, but its a hell of a lot easier and cheaper to just wait until a tuner comes out for them. Most of them offer an MDS off function. I do know that the beta Hypertech for the 4th gen currently doesnt offer an option to disable it.

You know the sad thing about it though, most of the 3rd gen guys that disabled MDS reported a gain in MPG!

Meh, not that big of a deal if your using the stock oil filter. They aren't that large and by the time you have ran for about 10 seconds, the filter is full. Now, On a deep oil filter, like one that has 1-2 quart capacity, yea, I will fill it up before hand.

Nice.. lol

Why not fill it with some, even 10 seconds of running with NO oil in it is bad bad bad on an engine. Its not like it costs extra or is hard to do..

One thing Chevy does right .. Their oil filters are just strait up and down, not tilted like Dodge and Ford.
Oh well..

You used a transmission funnel to fill the oil

Go do it over with the right tool kid.

Some of the Rambler 6 cylinder engines had the filter up side down. Talk about a mess!
