wd doesn't penetrate. if you're going to look for mine you need to find a place that sells CRC products.

I wouldn't worry about it until the time comes. But, on the other hand, it really can't hurt to have extra parts around. And you can always sell it if you get rid of the truck or something.

WD40 does suck! The Cyclo does everything it does, but it also penetrates. And as far as the evaporating goes, that is the exact problem I have with PB. If you try the Cyclo and compare it with the PB, you will see exactly what I mean.

thats the stuff my dad has sworn by for years. it says it penetrates to one millionth of an inch. i'd like to put the kroil oil, cyclo and knocker loose on equally frozen bolts and see which one is the best.

I'd like to do the same, but, it would be pretty hard to find equally frozen bolts. All I can go by is experience.

Never heard of Cyclo. You probably made that up just to screw with people

I've heard Kroil is *the shiat*. Never used it, though.

Anyone who works on their vehicles (lift kits etc) should own a torque multiplier. Sometimes you just need 500ftlbs to break that suspension bolt loose.

Basic multipliers have a (3.3 or 3.4):1 ratio. Input 100 lb-ft, get 3xx lb-ft output. You can get a unit with a 2klb-ft max output for under $300 these days. Not cheap as that other tool posted, but it isn't 8 parts you have to assemble each time you go to use it. It's one of them tools you will not use that often, but when do need it you'll be glad you have it.

1+, I was trying to stay out of this thread....

I am glad I wasn't within 50 feet of you when you tried that stunt with the jack.
You put that much force on a socket wrench, not only are you trying to turn the nut, but you will be putting straight upwards force on the wrench..... Ever had on slip off when you were jerking on it? IT HURTS. I expected to see that wrench go zipping through the air in that vid.... Not that smart, I think. Respect my opinion before you flame me.
