Well I went ahead and installed the new check valve, the one by "the intake was bad" with all new rubber vacuuum line, also replaced the hose that goes from the intake to the PCV valve all is well now!! It seems to have more power for some odd reason..

Sheriff thanks again for that part #.. Is that the same valve thats closer to the firewall also?

There isn't one. The cruise control vacuum line goes from the passenger side of the manifold (splits off next to the check valve) and goes up through a clip on the top radiator hose then down to the cruise control servo under the battery.
You should get a mirror and check out that servo for signs of corrosion from battery acid, it's the unit that is directly under the battery with a vacuum line connected to it and a few guys have had leaky batteries eat holes in them.

Thanks, but I don't have no corrosion on the battery tray or the servo, even all the plastic lines were in real good condition.. Thank you for the heads up..

It's great when it turns out to be a simple fix.
