From looking at my 96' Craig540's plugged hose goes to a line located over the top of the brake cylinder system and runs down towards the evap. canister under the truck on its way to the gas tank. Included a shot of the label under my hood.

jjtroutbum thanks for the info. I found that line to the evap canaster behing the brake cylinder, i had the brake cylinder replace about 6 years ago so they must have forgot to hook it up. What harm could that hose being disconnected have done.

it shouldn't have done any harm. just the risk of having all those gas fumes going around the engine.

Went to dealer and they charge 30 bucks for the Check Valve and the hose that comes out of the CV connected to the intake manafold, they would not sell me just the CV. The other CV was just 5 bucks, Crazy huh.

go to a parts store like advance or oreilleys. they'll have a pcv valve.
you can only get the check valves at the dealer. they were just a few dollars each.

I went to the junk yard and had several check valves in about 10min. Be sure they only flow in one direction with a quick blow though. Had a couple of duds in my search.

Unbelievable, I show them the part and they still can't find it. Anyone have a part number for the CV for the intake manafold and the Tee .

its PCV and any parts store will have it.
and if you tell the dealer that you need "vacuum line check valves" then they will be able to find them.
