Actually the heat reflective coating on the bottom is copper colored

How hard was it to take the alt apart and put it back together? I wanna clean up and paint mine before I put it back on. I tried that with the one outta my Mustang and broke it putting it back together. Has me a little scared to try it with the Ram's now. It seems a bit easier though
Thanks, taken me a while, I have been working on this for over 2yrs Seems like any time I order parts they are at the very least 2weeks away, usually a lot more.

Alt rebuild shop tore it down, I took the 3 pieces of the case home, taped them up, blasted them, re-tapped them with f/g heat tape, shot it, baked/cured it, removed the fiberglass tape and returned it to the alt shop for them to assemble. Tight tolerances on how the case goes together so the lip and recess as well as areas for the electrical cant get coated. Took some time to tape up but turned out great. Didnt want to pay 450+++ for the black pc coated alt at Summit, this cost me about 150 total w/tx plus a few hours work

huge pics below so just posted links

Hughes 55mm 1050cfm, if I go over 8psi boost will probably move up to the Accel 3bbl tb. Has twin 48s with progressivily linkaged HUGE soup bowl (think 42x72)
Actually the V10 is stock more or less.
Thanks!

Be rolling on these AR Burn 22x9.5s on the street with some Yoko 285/35s on them. Should look fairly decent, compliment the 2x4 drop and figured the chrome would match the head/tail lights as well as tie into the polished intercooler behind the grill (sort of chrome looking)

Edit-opps, another huge pic, changed to link
