Tire load range? Nah, only things that have ever been in the bed are performance parts or skinnies/slicks and floorjack. Hate stuff in the bed, slams around too much if not strongly secured. Figure street trim will be sitting at 4045-4075lbs curb wt with much better front/rear wt balance compared to stock. Race trim should be down around 3800-3830lbs. (stock 4455lbs)

Hey RM, do you have any before after pics of that drop? I've been toying with slamming mine a bit and just want to see what it looks like. I LOVE HP's bag setup, but I don't think I can stomach his cost for my build.
And another Q: are you running a windage tray and/or crank scraper on that thing? What did you go with if you are?

Wanted to put a windage tray on it but didnt end up with one. HP Indy had one on his last 408, but he had to cut it out around 7 & 8 lobes. That made me nervous that it could throw the cranks wt balance off very slightly so didnt get one. Turned out he split his block at 7k rpms. That could of had a part in it as well as no bolts in the lifter hold down yokes. Block was split down the middle of the 3 holes. Figure for the solid roller lifter cam to work, be a good idea to either have the bolts in (without the yoke hold down) or to weld the holes shut(better route) to give the block a bit more strength.
The Hughes main girdle I have is installed so that it will act as a scrapper. Main caps are matched and decked top/bottom so the girdle has more surface contact & rigidity. The girdle is file fit to the crank. Wont help a lot but all the little details will add up
