Default Check valve assembly

How do I take off the check valve assembly for the trani on a 96 ram 5.9 cause mine went bad n I need 2 replace the check valve

Don't replace it, drill it out, and leave it gone.

Yes , drill it out as stated. But you need to remove that line(which I believe is your question to begin with). You need a special tool to disconnect that line from the radiator, cheap plastic round thing that comes in an assortment of sizes available at any auto parts store. And do yourself a favor , and get a Haynes manual while you are there.

^ 3/8 inch fuel line disconnect. the cheap $5 on is good enough.

Yep.


But if you install the Sonnax Sure Cure transmission shift kit, it will allow the fluid pump to pump in park.

Or you could wait a minute or two after you start her up to shove it in drive...
