Nice job getting your dash off. My heater went out in october. It took me about 6 hours, because it was just me and my little bro, plus about halfway through it began to ran( i was working outside) and i couldn't shut my doors so i had to work under a tarp. I almost had my dash out but there was one or two wires I couldn't find holding it on, and yes SHERIFF you can do this without taking the dash completely out. I pulled mine about 1-2 feet away propped it on some jack stands. I had to break the old cor to get it out, but the new one sqeazed in fine. I went with a core from autozone for like $60 and it seems to be working great. Btw purple who did you get to drain your ac? I thought about doing my ac but didnt know you to call. Nice job.

I put a trash bag over the high side service port, and stuck a screwdriver in the service port. It made one hell of a mess, but it got the job done. Make sure to wear ear protection, a mask, and some goggles.

Then I had my A/C guy pull vaccum on the system when I got it all back together.

I don’t need the blend door metal part. I’m looking for part number 0420347 which is the plastic lever that connects to the actuator that controls the AC air flow from dash defrost vents, dash vents and floor vents. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

The plastic one is prone to breaking so they make them with metal now....
