very first picture is the TPS. It is located on the drivers side of your throttle body. THey are year and engine specific.

get it from www.rockauto.com

The duralast ones at autozone are crap. They are about 65 bucks.

no, i wasn't talking about the bulb...regardless, the bulb doesnt turn on when i press it, however, it doesnt turn off the o/d either, so i'm curious if the light just never comes on UNLESS the o/d is off...

still haven't adjusted the TV cable yet. my truck still doesn't want to downshift when i want to accelerate. i'm a little irritated about that, but i'm trying to keep my head up. i'm hoping the TV cable adjustment might help with that. and i want to get the o/d off fixed...

Just for the record, the TPS only controls OD downshift and TCC disengagement on RE style transmissions. The TPS has absolutely nothing to do with any shift in an RH transmission.

I've been bouncing back and forth myself between dr evil and a viper tranny. Still haven't made up my mind yet but as long as it doesn't give me any issue's, I wont be replacing mine for awhile.
