cooling mod for the 408
Mod card: Everyone take a friggin time out!
An E-fan can help in a lot of ways. Never forget. It's just up to you if you want to do it or not. Yes a clutch fan is parasitic, but IMO it's a good mod to do on these trucks. Early 345 Hemi's were clutch fan powered as well and they see a good 10HP gain just from the fan's removal. With motors that are as LOW powered as they are, then yes, they will help. Not a lot, but a little bit.

edit: sorry laramie posted before i seen that above.
^ Well a good rule of thumb is that the car/truck that you pick up the e fan from should have the same amount of cylinders as the car/truck your installing it on. Take, for example, an e fan I pick up when pick n pull had there half off sale. I got a dual fan off of a big V8 Regal. That way, I have a better chance of being as close as possible for my CFM needs, if not on the money. (It's damn near impossible to find out the CFM's of these fans)

Its also nearly impossible (without measuring yourself) to determine the amp draw of the fans. Some of those fans pull a lot of power. Not sure how much that Regal's fans draw, but I'd be cautious myself.
As far as the amps are concerned, I guess I could just check out what the Regal was working with (stock). I haven't put them in yet, but I felt that I needed to get them since it was half off...I had to get them just based on principal alone. It'll be a while before they get installed, if at all. I just might sell them. They fit our rads width wise and are 3 inches shy of fitting height wise. I like to keep things looking as stock as possible.

Let us know if it works out for you.
The Black Magic fan I have, since it is inside the factory shroud, looks factory. 18A draw.
