By the way, is your transmission even messed up or what? If not, drop the tranny talk unless you want to get into what can be done to one in order to beef it up and what that might cost and who to go to in order to get it done.
Got a little carried away cause I didnt feel that this discussion was going in the right direction. Got a little pushy. Appologies. Anyhow, I think HeyYou is on the right trail.

My truck did the exact same thing yours is doing. Changing the plugs fixed it. For a while. My plenum was badly blown, so, I was fouling plugs right quick. (I was eating three quarts of oil a week...... and the truck doesn't get driven that much) Once I hit 45 miles an hour, it was horrible....... I would disengage O/D, simply so that I wouldn't get my brains rattled out.
By the way, what RPM is your truck shifting into OD? If it's too low, truck can certainly shudder a bit till the RPMs are up again.

I made the move and tradede the 225,000 mile Durango for a 130,000 4x4 1500 club. Just drove it home ealier to add to the Dodge fleet.

It has the exact same symptoms and I'm banking on that it's plenum gasket and plugs. Will have to check out the wire TSB as well. The tranny is actually prett firm in all gears

well if I change the plugs and it still does it, that would then be the sign of trans correct, other than the trans, the spark plugs are pretty much my issues (i know about the plenum) by changing the plugs right away would instantly help my issues, correct, well I decided to get Autolite 3923 plugs or maybe 5224s, just regular duracraft wires and dist. cap or bosch wires? If I change the plugs and wires or just the plugs, and still the issue, than its the trans 100%, no? BTW, the trans shifts into 4th (OD) at around 45mph

took all plugs out and all looked fine, looked in good shape, they were the champions from the dealer, the wires were bosch, seems like the truck had a somewhat recent tune-up, so i guess it narrows it down to a TRANS

has newer bosch wires and didnt really look at the cap but it looks overall like it had a recent tune-up, its the trans, It has to be, the truck shows NO check engine lights, its super smooth until it gets to 4th thats when everything goes bad, I just got a trans for it, ill let you guys know this week the outcome, the trans I got, I drove and it drove perfectly fine and is a newer rebuilt one

so I drove the truck today with (2) new plugs and all of the other ones were newer anyways but I still felt the shake however, I noticed, if im driving at over 60mph the shake isnt as noticable, if I drive from a red light and gradually increase speed and let the truck shift normally, it was shake REALLY BAD in 4th, but if I floor it and let the truck shift into 4th at about 60, the shake isnt as bad, it still shakes but not as violent as it does at 45mph

My problems were a little worse than yours. ..Had a constant miss and had all the shaking that yours does. My problem was a fuel injector was partly stuck open. Maybe you have an injector that isn't doing exactly what it should....??

The last owner of my truck was told that his trans was bad, but I knew that the shake was the tranny and that it was just runnig like chit.

well I just noticed today more stuff:

When the truck is cold, it shifts good and barely any shakes, as soon as I warms up, it shakes real bad in 4th and now im even noticaing 3rd. I just noticed the temp thing though, i didnt let the truck warm up today really, only maybe 1-2 min and was on my way driving and noticed that the shake wasnt really there anymore, but about 5-10 min later, YEP it was there and now also in 3rd gear too, does this finally conclude TRANS?
