Ether you guys are Dumb or board. Cam crank correlation, Is timing. The computer can only adjust the timing so far. witch is set by where the distributor sets and the crank sensor. And correct me if i'm wrong dodge doesn't use a knock sensor as per chevy. At least i haven't come across any problem with knock sensor on a dodge to know if it has one or not.And yes, adjusting your timing for fuel, spark is part of "tuning" I believe. Hmm may be i'm just in the wrong forum...never mind I have to get back to doing head gaskets on a 90 chevy, then heads on a Azteck. It should be easy though sense theres no timing involved.lol
Timing is determined by the crank sensor. Fuel injector timing is controlled by the cam sensor. (pick up coil) Moving the distributor changes when the fuel injectors fire, not when the spark plug fires.
And no, dodge doesn't use a knock sensor. I really wish they had....
I have no problems with e3's. Fell victim to bosch 4 prongs. Worst mistake ever. E'3 are helping with power. Mieage not quite sur though. Why is it that im a lucky one??
How much did you pay for the tool to reprogram the PCM so the timing can be adjusted, and where did you buy it?
