the .512L exh lift with a 1.7 will give .544, that is the max safe lift on a 5.9, not sure on the 5.2

I would try to find verification on exactly what the 5.2 has for valve to piston clearance before deciding Clarence. (Whats your vector Victor)

It's a cool thing watching everybody give their Constructive opinions and it resulting in somebody getting the help they asked for! Sounds like this will be a good build for you!

there are some great books out there, my favorites are "How To Modify Your Mopar Magnum V8" and "How To Rebuild The Small-Block Mopar". Another good thick book is "Small Block A Engines" and of course the factory repair manual.

Have you done your plenum yet? If not, when you are in there for the cam would be a perfect time..... intake has to come off anyway to prevent you from dropping lifters in places they shouldn't be when you yank the cam. (makes it one HELL of a lot easier.......)

I got the .25 inch double roller timing set from advanced. Don't remember the brand, (lifetime warranty though....) I was amazed at how much performance I picked up with JUST having the timing set changed. Noticeable difference.
