Thanks for the pics, so thats the ole mighty crack between the valve seats which causes funny idles looks like ? wish i had extra parts to help ya out. how many cracked like that?

Those heads should be a dime a dozen at a scrap yard. Just buy with a return guarantee that get your money back if they are cracked. Have them cleaned and magnafluxed to find cracks. You should have the right head checked out too.

Rates vary dramatically by what area you are in. Best bet would be to call a couple dealerships, and see where THEY have their machine work done. Then, call the most popular place, and ask 'em.
