You put all that time, money, and effort into it, and now you are gonna sell it? The V-10 doesn't have the power you need?????? Warranty I understand.....

what about the viper pistons and connecting rod? won't that get you more power? with how much you have done you almost got a completely rebuilt truck.

have you maybe thought about getting a fifth wheel setup and enclosed trailer?

you would be able to tow more with a 5th wheel, or gooseneck hitch vs. the standard 2" reciever.

that v10 has some serious torque, and can handle that enclosed trailer with ease. however agreeing with heyyou, i understand the warranty stuff. id love to have one on my rig.

We do a LOT of long distance hauling, through some pretty steep mountains, and with a loaded open deck 2 car trailer, it struggled up some of the really steep mountains in TN/VA, etc. I mean, it did it, but it was just very happy with me about it. LOL With an enclosed 2 car, even a gooseneck/5th wheel, I don't think it would really be feasible. Nevermind if we wanted to toss additional equipment, etc. It might do it just fine, I'm just not sure if I'm comfortable pushing it like that.

We could turbo it with the viper parts, etc... but I'm scared we are just going to open a whole big can of worms with that to be honest It's built to handle it, but there's really nothing to judge from where the breaking point(s) will be. And I can't afford to break down 1000 miles from home, especially if I am by myself.

I dunno, it's still up in the air, I just think a new(ish) diesel dually will do everything we want, with room to go if we decide to get into a 3 car trailer, or whatever else down the line. We are at the edge of this trucks capabilities, and to dump more money into it, to HOPE it does what we need... not sure if that's the best way to go.

Really depends what truck has the most comfortable seats, to be quite honest. It's a toss up right now I think between the Ram 3500 and the F-350. Chevy is out, unless their new trucks have nicer seats, they are the most ungodly uncomfortable seats, I just refuse to pay that kind of money for a truck that will make my ***, and back miserable.

My vote is for the cummins. Mainly cause they are just a powerhouse and very very reliable motor and they arent as much of a pain to work on compared to the Furds..

Keep the dodge, invest in some Recarro Seats.
