I have a 1995 dodge ram 1500 with the 360 the tranny went out so I got it rebuilt. I put the tranny back in it didn't have spark I found I broke my crank censor so I pulled the one off my 318 I had from a 1994 ram now I have spark. It still won't run I tried poruring gas down the throttle body and I don't even have a backfire or anything I checked all the fuses reset my computer checked all the plugs they all have a blue spark I'm about ready to just scrap this truck any ideas would be awesome
Yes it was an auto trans the censors were the exact same I compaired them befoer putting it in is it possible that that csp is giving me spark but not letting my motor fire?
check all the wiring. make sure nothing is pinched. If you have spark, and pouring gas in it doesn't get any action, have a look at the dist cap too.... might have broken in doing the trans swap.
also these intakes are not really degins to por gas down ,,,, because of the kegger sytle gas would have to get sucked up form the belly pan before going into the cyl's
maybe,,, can you hear the fuel pump turn on?,,, it there fuel at the fuel rail?,,, there is port to test fuel psi on the drive side fuel u can test the fuel psi there
Well I took the dis cap off and found the tab on the rotor was a little tweaked so I bent it back and now it fires up after turning over for a bit and it misses horribly once it starts so I'm thinking that I need a new rotor I put the #1 cylinder on tdc and checked the position of rotor so the timing is not off
