Default What did I do???

Today I dropped my tranny pan. Changed my filter and replaced with 4 fresh quarts. I also replaced my Speed sensor unit on the tranny. It has been shifting funny, Either shifts too fast or takes too long. My Question is.....I took it for a test drive and now it won't shift out of first. What did I miss, Is there a specific way the sensor goes in.

Have you checked the fluid since? Did you use ATF+4?

I actually just went back out. It's barely showing on the stick. I felt like a lot came out. But it supposedly called for 4 back in.

2-4 quarts is the initial fill. Then you check and fill accordingly.

Just an fyi. the dodges need to be checked in "N" not in park. I just recently learned that myself. most vehichles are checked in park and hot. Not neutral. Dodge pumps dont run in park.
