Today I dropped my tranny pan. Changed my filter and replaced with 4 fresh quarts. I also replaced my Speed sensor unit on the tranny. It has been shifting funny, Either shifts too fast or takes too long. My Question is.....I took it for a test drive and now it won't shift out of first. What did I miss, Is there a specific way the sensor goes in.
Well that figures, The old lady just took my van to work. Now I'm screwed for the night. Thanks for the Info. I'll check it first thing in the morning.
Just an fyi. the dodges need to be checked in "N" not in park. I just recently learned that myself. most vehichles are checked in park and hot. Not neutral. Dodge pumps dont run in park.
if its a 96 i did mine back in december and my owners book said 4 and i took about 7 1/2 to 8 i believe also mine wouldn't come out of second gear take the positive battery cable off. computer needed to be reset. it doesn't like new thing being attached.
