For those running the diesel springs on their 1500: How much did they actually stiffen the ride WITHOUT any extra load on the front (HD bumper, plow etc...)? I picked up my buddy's old springs off his 2500 cummins and figured they'd be perfect for leveling out my truck and supporting the bumper i plan to build...
Thanks
didnt stiffen the ride too much.... my plow drops my truck 3/4" when it is raised. so the springs are great! i have had them on for over a year, and it just rides like a truck should.
Just got done putting my 3500 diesel coils on off a 98 3500, i love the way it sits! I have add a leafs on the rear and the rear is 1 inch higher than the front, i like the back a little higher than the front so i'll have to figure out how to get a couple more inches in the back
I am contemplating doing this mod, and was wondering if there are any other mods that are necessary. Such as longer brake lines, new shocks, steering components, etc.

Or is this pretty much a drop in?
Thanks.
Swap the springs, yer done. Quick, relatively painless, and easy.
