all the lines and connections are hooked up. replaced the O rings on the injectors, had to pull them anyway. dealer wanted 135$ for the Orings lol. got them at my local speed shop for 11$.

all looks good as far as everything being connected and seated properly. NO START! threw a code having to do with idle. didnt have the IAC plugged in. cleared code, no more CEL.

still NO START.

we have fuel pressure, have a spark though it seems weak. flooded it around 6pm last night. let it sit overnight and tried to start it. same thing. no start. doesnt even appear to try to go.

again, starter seems fine, fuel and spark are there.

gonna pull the O2 and see if that helps.

anyone else had a no start after the plenum fix? let me know what you did to fix it. im at a loss.

You got the ground wires hooked back up to the bolt behind the tube coming out of the water pump?

ground wires are fine. heading out for new plugs and wires. plugs look fine but have over 100000km on them. time to change. i cant see the connector for the crank position sensor, im wondering if that came unplugged somehow. spark, fuel, power, no combustion. no codes. if the plugs and wired dont help, gonna pull o2 and see if that helps.

The plug for the crank and cam sensor are to the right(driver side) just behind the distributor.

alright, back at it today after those insane thunderstorms and tornadoes cut my day short last night. pulled the plug wires and took off the cap. rotor pointing at the steering wheel, #6 i believe? 2 o-clock it seems. should be at 10 o-clock. gonna get my father to show me how to get it to TDC, make sure it lines up. put plugs and wires back and try to fire it up. everything else behind the intake appears to be connected properly. this SHOULD be it. will update.

first time doing engine work, man am i learning a lot

btw, zman, youre the bestest. but im afraid you may spend too much time in these forums lol

LOL, I'm on here all the time for a reason. That will change next week sometime though. (which I'm sure is going to make a lot of people happy)
