46RE Transmission Problem

Thanks. I will try to pick them up tomorrow. I don't mind "experimenting" in an area where I am comfortable, but with something like this, I would rather be sure.
Thanks to all of you that have helped. You cannot imagine how helpful you have all been. Without DF, I would not have attemped this task. Can't wait to get this tranny back in and start on other projects like steering, plenum, suspension, and significant body repair! I know I will have more than book value invested, but ther is something about restoring a truck that you cannot put a $ value on sometimes. (Found a 1938 Dodge 1 ton for sale - may snag it up for next project!)

Valve Body
I am installing Sure Cure kit and have a question. I am looking at the separator plate modication on page 4. But there are two plates, niether of them look like the one in the instructions.
Is there something I am missing, or could this be due to a year model difference?
Thanks.

Well, it was a Monday. COuldn't skip out of the office to get frictions. Maybe tomorrow.
I am getting ready to order new TC, but checking various websites, I have discovered that I do not know enough to order it.
Most sites ask for stall speed. Some show 2800 to 3000 rpm. What is factory stall speed for a 46RE, with a 5.2L? Would a higher stall be be better, or worse? (I thought a TC was a TC.)
