46RE Transmission Problem

It was easier than I imagined. Do lots of governemnt work, and it is NEVER the easy way. Got used to looking for more difficulty than may exist.
It was a PITA to keep having to remove attachments to add another attachment.
I kept looking for a sticky thread on that, but never found it. It would certainly help those of us that are new here.
Thanks everyone.

Is this correct?
Since I am not sure, I thought I would post this and ask for expert opinion.
When I install the input shaft and clutches, I am not sure if this is down all the way or if I may not have all the frictions aligned> Is this as far as it goes? It is the same level all the way around the circumfrence of the assembly. I don't want to crater anything when I install the pump assembly.
Thanks!

Well I'm no expert for sure, but you'll be able to tell when its time to seat everything together. You'll know if your clutch plates arent completely engaged on the input shaft rear clutch if you install the pump and take your end play measurements, and come back with 0 as your end play. (If you didnt install an extra shim.) Ask me how I know that fun little tidbit....Your drum looks seated to perfection though.

Highs in the 70's and 80's here. I just got home from work and went to the liquor store and got a case of 90 Shilling Ale. Ready for my three day weekend. I havent touched the valve body in about 36 hours. I stopped at the throttle valve because I was confused on the setup I need to install. Other than that, all I really have to do is stand my transmission on end and try to see if I can seat everything better, otherwise I fear I might be taking the main housing apart again to see why I have no endplay at the input shaft. I never really got a definative answer on that, so I'm sketched to install it that way. I hope to be driving it sometime this weekend...
