Keep in mind no alternator puts out full power at idle. Most don't reach full output until 850-1000 rpms. With an underdrive pulley, it'll be even less. I'm not a huge fan of severely overdoing it.
I'm throwing in a 136 amp because I know several dodge trucks came with that, so the system should be up to it. Dont have any idea how a 250 amp alt would tax the electronics.

This one is full out put at 700 rpm I think.
