If they are the same then how the heck do I get the rear carrier our? I know if you pry on the front hard enough it will come out but when I replaced my spiders last year I couldn't get the rear out.
I called the dodge garage and they just told me to pry but it would move freely for like an inch or two and then it wouldn't go any farther...that's with sliding the axle shafts out and taking out those 4 bolts holding those two clips in (I forget what they are actually called).

If you have not done it already, remove the bearing caps. Take out the two 11m bolts for the thread adjuster locks, and use a screwdriver to rotate the adjusters out to lossen the tension on the differential. Be careful, bc once the tension is gone, the assembly will want to fall out onto the ground. (almost happened to me)
