Well I have solid spark now, but still no start. I'm at the JY right now, but I will check injector pulse when I get back. I still have power at the injectors, and I can deffenatly smell gas when I try to start the truck. Also will a v6 crank sensor work in an v8?

 

I think they are the same. Only difference appears to be auto or manual trans.

 

Well I was able to grab a PCM off of a 98 Durango with a v8 auto and a crack sensor for an auto. I will update when I get them installed

 

Well I got the new PCM in.I have ground pulse at the coil. And I have injector pulse. The truck still won't start. And I have strong spark. I'm at a loss, do yall think I should have the new PCM flashed(I keep getting a code 1491 for a fan control circuit), fuel sync, or maybe something got bent in the motor is all I can think of that could still cause my no start.

 

are you getting fuel? just because you have injector pulse doesnt mean you are getting fuel.....

 

Yep definitely getting fuel. The pump primes and runs.also everytime I try to start the motor I can smell the fuel

 

maybe the truck is just flooded.

 

Without having to read back through the thread, Have you verified fuel pressure with a gauge?

 

Pull a couple plugs, see if they are wet.

 

They were wet. And zman i'm away from most of my tools so I haven't been able to check fuel pressure. I finally pulled my crank sensor and tee red write was frayed almost all the way through so now i'm just trying to get ahold of someone to give me a ride to the posts store
