changed header gasket now no start
How could a wire on the crank sensor get frayed from messing with a header?
You should get that sorted out and throw your pcm back on the truck before trying to crank it again.

That's what I was thinking. Well the wire damage looks very recent and i've seen damage like ths before on one of the planes i've worked on. A circuit kind of backfired in a sense and blew a wire that was really old, but left the fuses and circuit breakers intact. I don't think that the header did the damage, I think that leaving the sparkplug wires undone were the trick lol.

It probably already was frayed(maybe), but since the plugs(for cam and crank) are on the driver side, maybe he pulled or moved it enough when removing plug wires or removing and/or installing new header and didn't notice.
Well I swapped in the new crank sensor and tried it with my original PCM with no change. I put the Durango PCM in and for a brief second she started to crank but only for a sec. Then nothing.what else could it be????? I'm bout to the point of taking it to the dealer to see if they can figure it out
I think its flooded bad. A couple of things to try before the dealer. Pull a spark plug and see if it's wet, if so try the stuff below.
1 Remove the fuel pump relay in the pdb set the gas peddle @ wfo and try to start it, if it does fire it will be brief, then install the relay and try to start it.
2 If it's relay bad remove all the spark plugs, unplug the 12v wires from the ign coil, remove the fuel pump relay and spin that pig over, have someone watch for fuel coming out of the spark plug holes, once the gas has stopped coming out the hole reinstall everything and try to start the truck. Don't smoke during this work please, gas vapors will be in the air and my go boom.
Edit: If it has been flooded that bad you need to change the motor oil soon as it will have gas in it, not good.
