May have an air pocket in the cooling system causing it to get a little hotter. If so, the air pocket will usually work itself out (on my truck anyway). When I changed my radiator, mine ran hotter than usual for a minute or so, then the temp hand dropped rapidly to where it normally sits. I actually had turned around and headed back home because I thought it was going to get too hot, then the temp hand dropped. Might drive it around a bit and see if the temp hand goes down. Of course, need to be careful and not let it get too hot.
I burped the truck...Ive drove around a bunch it stays@220&the cap is cool to the touch so idk
Check the connection at the temp sensor for the gauge...... It's the single wire connector. Also, make sure the sender has good contact with the manifold. (that's how it grounds)
Ok now I just did a bunch of running around&on the way home the truck started to shake real violently @about 50...drove another mile&it did it again...another mile&did it again.Any ideas?
Go back over everything. Make sure all connections are clean and tight. Wonder if the sudden crappy running coincides with the PCM commanding egr open.......
