Ok it's not the switch just checked it. As far as the wiring diagrams go I'm not a computer person and don't know how to get to them but I'll get a manual and see what HayYou is talking about.
Pull the covers off the steering column, and have a look at the wires where they hit the turn signal switch. If you have tilt wheel, the wires there get pulled out, and might have some issues.
just looked and all is good with the turn signal switch. Ok just playing in my driveway and when I put it rev. it stalls. Sry I didn't know this before but it's ok when put in drive. Neutral safety switch ?

my understanding of the neutral safety switch is that it locks out the starter, not the ignition.
so - does it seem like any time the brake lights or backup lights come on - it stalls? and if so does removing brake light and backup light fuse cure BOTH problems.
if so, it may be related to rear lights, or trailer connecter or harness. could the trailer wiring pigtails be unplugged at the tail lights? it seems like i removed my tail lights to plug that harness in. hard to remember that was a long time ago.
I just feel it is really important to inform the OP that you spelled drool wrong haha
Hey, this is serious bidness.....
I cannot imagine what would cause engine to stall when hitting brakes. Been looking through schematics and nothing is making sense. But I'll keep looking....

I know what you mean GD, I'm still trying to figure out the correlation between it stalling when the brake is pushed and also stalling when he puts it in rev but not drive. Wonder if that has something to do with the back up lights...it all sounds like some kind of short but where and why the heck would it stall the truck...
