Green vacuum hose is just the vent line for the 4x4 switch on the t-case. It doesn't actually go anywhere.

If you put the truck all the way down into low, will it actually move?

Yeah it'll move, it drives fine forward, it goes through all the gears and locks up the TC like it should around 50mph, it doesnt engine brake worth a damn though when i put it in the lower gears.

He said that theres a check ball that may or may not supposed to be in there, that he put in there. He said he knows for a fact that mine did NOT have one there to begin with but he put one there anyways. He has the truck right now and im supposed to call him in a little bit around noon to see what he's discovered. Hopefully that cures it.

Its fixed now, appearently there is'nt supposed to be a check ball in one of the valve bodies there in some years of the trannies and the others do have it. It keeps it from going into reverse and cuts down engine braking. But now everything is fine and well.

Except my CAD doesnt seem to be hooking up, i can put it in 4Low and it will gear down the rear end but the front is still free wheeling. There was two vacuum hoses or something that go into the lines bolted to the trans x-member, that run the the CAD box, i just dont know if i have them in right or not. Theres a red one and a black one

The catch pan was for the oil filter we had to take off. We wanted to keep the space underneath the truck as clean as possible while we still needed under it, once we got the tranny out though, no holds barred haha
