Don't use 4x4 on dry pavement. That can get expensive.

Also check to see if the heat works, It slips your mind when it's hot outside

This may sound stupid but check to see how the tires are worn. Like if they are more worn on the inside or if they are bald. Tires can be expensive for a truck. Least they are for 2500's

Pretty sure it was all 2nd gen rams that had cracking dash issues, just some area's are less prone due to less sunlight. Example: My '95

+1 on tires, mine were $1100 for bf Goodrich all terrains stock size

Default Leakage

The one thing not mentioned here is water leaks. Around rear window corners and same at front windows. Also that lovely camper--brake light at rear of roof. I spent a few bucks tearing out interior more than once to search and repair water leaks.

I haven't had any problems with water leaks in mine........ (knock on wood.....)

I've had some wet floor from a leaky heater core, but no water leaks!
