Right now i have no way of getting to a shop or anything. However i plan on changing my fluids again in about 2 weeks. I read somewhere on here someone recommending doing that IF you haven't kept up on the fluid change. When i change it for a second time i could replace the solenoid. As for adjusting, I have not a clue and would probably eff myself in the A

Gears go through up and down just fine, no problems with normal driving. Just the problem with upshifting when i floor it and the first start and go of the day. After the first start theres no hesitation of any kind when put into gear.

Yes, I tried to get one from autozone but they didnt have one. Also someone there said DON'T do that! He said something about it being pressurized and putting a plug in would be catastrophic.

LMAO... reason 1001 to not shop at Autozone. Unless wax or oil is on sale. Do NOT buy the gov solenoid at AZ.

If the cooler has been replaced, it is possable the check valve has been removed. If so, the fluid can drain out of the torque converter. If that happens, it needs to fill before the truck will move.

I removed the check valve on mine and have the same problem. I just shift to neutral for a few seconds before going into any other gear. The pumps in these trannies do not pump in park.
