In all my searching I have not found a windage tray from the magnum engines. So if you know of one I'd be willing to look.
Well the catch here is that if I want to use studs I need to take my block back to the machine shop and have the mains honed with the studs as they change the clamping force of a bolt. Not that I am against this I'm just trying to figure out if it's really needed. IMHO ARP bolts should be enough but like you I like overkill also.....

Well I called Hughes planning on spending the MONEY if they said I needed the gridle and they told me for my application just running the ARP bolts will be good enough. I told them I was the type to error on the side of cation if needed and they again said if I just want to throw money at it they'd be glad to sell me the kit with studs & gridle but that I really didn't need it.
So I am returning the studs that I ordered incorrectly and have the bolt kit coming along with the correct bolts for the torque converter. I guess there are two sizes for that also and I'd ordered the wrong size for that also. So I'll have new parts here in about 7-10 days.

The Magnum bottom end is the same as the LA motors. I'm running an old LA windage tray setup on my stock stroke magnum motor, along with an LA 8 quart Milodon oil pan, pickup and dipstick setup and it all works fine.
That is good to know. If I remember correctly the 5.2 oil pan is different than the 5.9 but I CAN'T remember where I read that or got that information so I could be mistaken. I wanted to go with a larger oil pan but I need to get the engine/transmission skid plate back in place to measure how much room I'll have before I try to get something deeper. It's the same thing with the transmission pan as I would like to have a trans pan with a drain & oil temp bung.
