I also ended up having to take about 6 weeks off due to injuring my leg. My socket to my prosthetic wasn't fitting properly anymore because my leg had shrank due to my being so active and I bruised my leg really bad. I'd took 10 days off to let it heal and thought it was good then a few days later where I'd bruised it I split the skin open and was bleeding. So I had to take a month off to let it heal up completely. It SUCKED.
Is the axle going to be able to move side to side at all when going over rough terrain? You don't have a lot of clearance there, and it wouldn't take much deflection for that to contact the starter.......
Summit actually has a selection of mini starts for the magnum engines...... No clue on the reliability of the brands though.
Glad to see your still moving along with the jeep. I hope to see it some day. I've been getting out and learning some service roads lately, it's very relaxing.

I'll look at Summit again. The trackbar will keep it from shifting much side to side. I've got the Powermaster 9523 starter already that is what is in the pictures.

It's taken a lot longer than I'd planned or hoped for but I'm slowly getting there.
