I also ended up having to take about 6 weeks off due to injuring my leg. My socket to my prosthetic wasn't fitting properly anymore because my leg had shrank due to my being so active and I bruised my leg really bad. I'd took 10 days off to let it heal and thought it was good then a few days later where I'd bruised it I split the skin open and was bleeding. So I had to take a month off to let it heal up completely. It SUCKED.

Right now the shocks are the limits. But I'm going to add bump stops and have been thinking about adding limiting straps.

I also got another project this summer but it's to meet my goal of traveling and towing the Jeep with me. I traded my Ram 3500 dually in on it.

2008 Ford 550 4x4 Host Quad slide motorhome 35' long.

This thing is huge inside.

And Host is a primer camper manufacturer so I was glad to be able to find one.

This is at my sister farm outside of Snohomish, WA

Had to stop and show it off to her.

And since I needed something to drive around I picked up this 1997 Ram 1500 with a 5.2 & 238K miles but it runs like a champ.

Is the axle going to be able to move side to side at all when going over rough terrain? You don't have a lot of clearance there, and it wouldn't take much deflection for that to contact the starter.......

Summit actually has a selection of mini starts for the magnum engines...... No clue on the reliability of the brands though.

Glad to see your still moving along with the jeep. I hope to see it some day. I've been getting out and learning some service roads lately, it's very relaxing.

I'll look at Summit again. The trackbar will keep it from shifting much side to side. I've got the Powermaster 9523 starter already that is what is in the pictures.

It's taken a lot longer than I'd planned or hoped for but I'm slowly getting there.

Found a different starter that looks to be smaller with a smaller footprint and looks like you can clock it also.

Are the mounts right though? Thought it was just two, and all were inline with the starter drive gear.....

I thought it was these two holes for mounting. Honestly missed the other hole somehow. We'll see if it fits & works or not.

They offer another starter but it's out of stock right now.
