If you have O2 sensors, it'll help.... but, only once the engine achieves closed loop. And stepping on the gas too hard will drop you out.

I'm not sure I'd want to run it long enough to achieve closed loop. One thing that has been suggested is a leak in the intake manifold on the drivers side causing it to run lean. But I would think if it was leaking it wouldn't run as well as it does.
But going to try some brake clean on it to see if I get any changes in RPM.

Yes 100% agree. I'm talking with Ryan at FRP already about a tune. I don't plan on running again until I get the tune other than to check for vacuum leaks on the intake manifold and will only run it for a short time.

Well I found the issue, now should I pull the intake and put new gaskets on or could I try to retorque the manifold bolts?

Not looking forward to pulling this intake back off as it's gunna be a PITA but if I've got to then I'll do it.

And while I'm here let me ask a question. I'm trying to figure out my vacuum hookup.

I had this diagram but not sure it's correct.

This shows the EVAP canister hooked up to the manifold vacuum.

This one shows it hooked up to the ported vacuum. And I don't think I have a ported vacuum on my intake.
