what would cause these bolts to come lose?

Default what would cause these bolts to come lose?

Just wondering why my bolts for my valve covers would be so lose?I went to so em&was just able to take them lose with my fingers

Not sure, vibration? Gasket shrinks and makes a looser fit? Engine Vibration? It happens, seems all my small block mopars do this.

Common issue, tighten them every oil change to the proper torque spec.

What about dabbing some blue loctite on there? Would that help or is that a bad idea?

vibration and heat cycles cause expansion and contraction which eventually works bolts loose. lock-tite will help keep them from loosening...it will just make them far more difficult to remove later on...

When I switch to synthetic, the started to loosen up significantly. The oil was wicking them loose.

a dab of rtv on the threads will hold them in without being difficult to remove.
medium strength blue thread locker (locktight) also removes easily.

avoid the high strength stuff on small bolts.
