Default Ac not working

Ac isn't work for some reason. Checked the pressure and its in the red but only because it is not even cycling. Relay clicks so sounds like its getting power? any one know what could be wrong? i dont really know where to start. tested for power from the two wires going in to the clutch and have no power there...

Probably one of your pressure switches is bad.... What is the pressure on the low side with engine running?

Might be time for a recharge......

That's on the LOW side???? Sounds like it's overcharged......

Edit: Try jumping the low pressure switch. See if the clutch engages, and pressure should go down.

One switch is on top of accumulator. Pass side up against the firewall.

Yeah 120 is way to high for the low side which is where you should be charging and testing for pressure. It should be around 40-45 psi on the low side.

With the compressor not running, my guess is, high and low side have equalized pressure. You only get an accurate low-side reading while the compressor is actually running.

Use a paper clip , remove and jump the low side plug on the accumulator to get the compressor running and then check the pressure.
