Valve Timing Questions
Oh trust me, I would love to take her out but that little voice in the back of my head keeps saying I might regret it lol
Wait for the tune, you don't want to romp on it with incorrect fueling. Go too lean and you'll regret it.
Btw, you don't need break in oil for a roller camshaft, just for flat tappets. You will want to snug up the header/manifold bolts after a heat cycle. Pay special attention to the collector bolts, esp. if you're still using the stock collector flange with only 2 bolts.
It's going to be a nice little bump in power. Should keep you happy for a month, then you'll want more.
They always want more...

[quote=MeanMagnum99;2868672]OK gent's, this video is right after the fuel sync and the first heat cycle. I have a couple more heat cycles until the cam, springs and everything is broke in and then I can change the break in oil and put fresh Mobile1 in. Now she just has to look pretty until I get my SCT tuner in. Sean said it will be in my hands by Tuesday. Pardon my horrible phone quality. It's a million times better in person.
Break in oil...Heat cycles?
I unloaded my Dak with a new 408 and ran a 11.77, there's no break in on a hydro roller cam, best thing you can do is beat on it.

OT: Adobedude, that's one hell of a DA in your sig, what was the outdoor temp, Baro, and humidity that day?
That would have been in the 10's on a more favorable day. Damn fast.
