Valve Timing Questions
Wait for the tune, you don't want to romp on it with incorrect fueling. Go too lean and you'll regret it.
Btw, you don't need break in oil for a roller camshaft, just for flat tappets. You will want to snug up the header/manifold bolts after a heat cycle. Pay special attention to the collector bolts, esp. if you're still using the stock collector flange with only 2 bolts.
It's going to be a nice little bump in power. Should keep you happy for a month, then you'll want more.

Oh, I figure I had to break it in since the entire cam and valvetrain is new. I was just playing it safe. I did break the cam and valve springs as recommended. I'm going to keep her in the driveway for sure until I get my tune. I have way too much invested to make a mistake now. I'm going to check the headers tomorrow and make sure everything is snug still. I've ran 3 heat cycles of 1500rpm for 10min and even though it's not tuned and running rich at idle it starts right up with no hesitation. I would say it purrs like a kitten but it thumps like a rabbit lol And yes, I know I will want more but that's what my 408 I'm starting to save and build up is for
Does anyone know what would would cause my fuel sync to go from +4 to -4 after installing my tune with my SCT tuner? Sean and I are trying to figure it out but no luck. I'm going to check it later to see if it stayed.

Crazy...
Yeah it was at +4 when I tightened it down the first time before the tune. The only thing I can think of is maybe it wasn't tightened down good enough. I'm just trying to figure out what number works best with my tune now. +4 and it would stumble and die when I would come to a stop. I'm thinking I may have to try 0 or possibly -2.
YouYou read my mind lol I figured that since my cam sensor in the dizy (aka hull effect pickup sensor) has 100k it's time for a new one.
