He is moving faster than I have been with my 2nd gen!

Moo I forgot you arent intercooled yet. Good luck with the future plans, hopefully they will result in more power and economy.

Hard no hard feelings. I don't take anything personal on the Internet

On a side note, I really need to ditch my current IC lol. I think I also decided to go with a cone air filter from ARE or s&b... Well see about their 1mpg claims

I have a mpg update the forum savages

Still no I/C yet but- mileage has been awesome when i slow down and the motor has had a chance to warm up before i fill up. I've taken 2 small trips about an hour each way. I have Pics of my odometer readings and pump readings for proof too

I logged 27.5mpg going south from wilmont mn to spirit lake ia. And today from spirit lake ia to worthington mn, 29.25mpg!

These were both flat roads at 55-60mph tops and mostly interstate. Kinda surprised I wasnt shot on the 4 lane lol

That's pretty stellar. What is it at normal highway speeds?

THAT, is awesome. Those are the numbers I was thinking you should be able to see with that truck. Very cool.

Highways here have speed limit of 55 and interstate is 70? So far I have been getting ~20-22 in town when I don't let it sit and idle while I run into stores, etc. 23.4mpg has been my interstate best and recently 27-29mpg has been my best at 55mph...

Something crazy I noticed today while I was fueling up is diesel finally went cheaper than gasoline again

$3.74 vs $3.99 a gallon at this rate I will only need about 15k more miles to pay off the investment in the swap
