the coil!! was the culprit.but i went and changed the cap and rotor to it needed it. but took her out today and she ran fine. thanks for all the help

So peshewa nailed it early on. Rock on, peshewa!

It's always good to have an adequate inventory of test equipment on hand. Any excuse to buy tools is good enough for most of us. I'm lucky that my wife understands and appreciates that it's cheaper in the long haul if my garage is properly stocked.

Again, I'm really glad to know you got it fixed.

Never let a woman get to thinking that she's got any control whatsoever over the garage! Do that, and next thing ya know there's no room to park the truck because its former space is now occupied by holiday decorations and craft supplies.

It is always serviced regularly and with the same attention to detail as I approach everything else in my life that is important to me. No worries there.

well i learned 1 thing get some test eqt, i orderd a code reader,spark tester,and fuel pressure tester. so now i can stop at least some of the guess work.
