I jut got all the numbers off and sent them to hemifever. I guess it's two numbers combined.

The part number on my PCM is 56040892, which is on a '96 Ram 2500 Magnum 5.9. What are some of the other PCM part numbers folks are finding on the '96 - '01 trucks?

Well I plugged in the tuner and put it on the 87 tune without the tstat for winter because hemifever said it'll be fine. It runs awesome! I can spin the tires alot more than I use to and it gets up to speed alot better. I also liked the way he changed the shifting and rev limiter. I got the tstat but I'll wait till early spring to install it.

96 to present is obd2, so the sct should work.

Hemifever is one of the very few that actually supports the 96-97 trucks.

Sort of... 1996 was the first year, and through 1997 they did do some weird hybrid OBD I/OBD II garbage. Thats one of the reasons why so few tuners support them. There have even been some reports that as late as 1998 there were a few leftovers, but that was the first year considered to be a true OBD II Ram 1500.
