When in 4 wheel drive, all four wheels drive equal, if thiers no noise in a stright line, you have no issues.
When your turn left, the outer wheels kick because the inner wheels have less distance to travel, where as the outer wheels have to travel a greater distance, and with all four wheels being driven = this causes the kicking..
When wheels have no traction, than you will not get the kicking action when in 4wd, as all four wheels are not rotating =
most 4wd are really only 3wd unless you run a locker in the front diff..

Most 4wd are really 2wd, unless you have lockers front AND rear.
Are you new to 4wd? As mentioned, what you are experiencing is normal. Do not drive in 4wd on dry pavement, and easy in sharp turns. Tears heck out of tires as well.
It's almost sad the difference that ONE tire spinning up front does...

I am not new to 4 wheel drive, I know how to drive with 4 wheel. The unusual noise happens only when I lock into 4 wheel. It makes the sound like putting a card in the spokes of a bicycle. It happens when turning and going straight.

OK. now about the card in the spokes sound - That's different from what I understood in original post. Check ujoints on front axle and hub bearings.
Someone please move the cited article to the WTF section because this guy doesn't know WTF he's talking about.
