Yes, diesel, and v-10 have DRAMATICALLY different power cures. New torque converter is definitely in order.

Could keep it simple and get a stock TC from 47RE that was mated to a V10.

I'll buy a brand new a new TC, just so I know what I get (as opposed to getting somebody's used crap) I was asking if anyone recommended any certain brands, stall etc... if not I'll just get a factory setup.
