Overdrive bucking/shake. Missfire?

right now I'm working on the exhaust, cat, and o2s. as soon as I can ill do a compression test and updates.

ok well its been a while but finally did a compression check

number 1-8 cyclinders 130,155,145,155,145,155,155,100
pit some oil in the #1 and 8 cylinder and got 10psi higher

truck finally threw a code for #8. what gets me is the truck only has 85xxx.

What was the fix for this? Were the heads ok? My 2006 4.7 is doing the same thing with misfire on 1 and 5 plus a random one.

Completely different engine. You want to be in the third gen ram section.

I know but internals all work on the same principals. So that's why I asked.

Even the internals are different. The only things the engines have in common, is they are both internal combustion engines. NOTHING else is the same. Not the valve train, not the electronics, nothing. You want to post in the correct section, where folks with the SAME motor might actually be able to help you.
