It has less than a mile on the rebuild, i just finished it friday and put it in sat,i rebuilt it, and i checked the fluid level. I also found the accumulator piston and insert was messed up and i would imagine thats what happened to reverse, because rev would work to back out of my driveway but the second i put it into first it would rip the oring i tryed it twice so im gonna buy the accumulator piston and inserts from sonnax. The second problem was getting into third when it would it slippes completly. Now im not a tranny tech but i wanna figure this out myself not take it to a shop, and im wondering if the pressure blowing by the broke oring could cause this?

One more quick thing i did also install a sonnax shift kit into the valve body, i have double checked and triple checked to see if i did it right and i still haven't found anything that looks wrong.I also just happened to see your in austin I'm in georgetown do you know any tranny parts shops besides jerrys there in austin.

I bought my parts through www.wittrans.com about 2 years ago, and just moved here (near Coupland) in December, so I don't know any shops here.
A set of gauges plugged into test ports will help identify where the problem is.
I'll snde a PM.

Ok so i think i have figured out the problem from what i can tell, nows the how to fix it. I mistyped info in one of my repys, i had already installed the smaller accumulator and inserts into the bore of my tranny case. The piston would compress all the way down and slice the orings i put in there. Well today i checked the inserts and the bigger one looked cocked in the bore so i drove it in a little more and took the valve body apart dug the oring piece out and replaced the oring again. So i started my truck put it in reverse and worked perfectly, and to get out of my driveway i had to make a 4 point turn and it was fine. So i started to drive... First Gear... Second Gear... Third Gear with no slipping and then i slowed down for a turn and stop sign and stopped put it into reverse and slipping like the oring busted again. So the inserts have a slit cut at the bottom for oil ports so the piston is going all the way down and when it trys to go back up it catches and slices a chunk out so.... this has happened three times nows so im gonna try to pull the inserts out and check them but there lock tight in so ... idk how about some ideals guys thanks!
